Drag-and-Drop Program Designer
Visualize the relationships between items in multi-stage/multi-touch campaigns through the Conversen Program Designer. Simply drag items onto the canvas to create visual maps of your campaigns that can be shared with clients and other team members.
Trigger Messages Based on Events and Date Calculations
Create automated "lights-out" multi-stage and multi-touch campaigns based on any event or time-based calculation with the click of a mouse. And with the central, channel-agnostic database, events from any channel or external system can trigger messages to be sent in any other channel. Submit the PURL from the Print piece and trigger an SMS text message confirmation.
Offer Testing with Cells & Splits
Test offers and creative changes with Testing Cells, and manage the execution of those cells in any channel. Hold out control groups, run A/B Tests and send the winning message to the remainder, run Champion/Challenger tests for ongoing campaigns, and create complex hierarchies of cells and sub-cells to test as many permutations as you need.
Create and Send Messages Based on Complex Schedules
Every campaign has the ability to generate messages and send them based on whatever complex scheme you need to support your communication strategy. Need to wait until the first business day of the month before delivering a reminder message? No problem. Need to set up a newsletter to start sending at 3AM on a Sunday when you're not around? Done and done.
Campaign Calendar
While we think relying on a traditional marketing calendar can prevent a brand from interacting with it's consumers effectively, it's still important to get a comprehensive view of the overall communication strategy to make sure you aren't flooding inboxes and making phones buzz too often.
Business Rules Can Be As Simple or Advanced As You Want
Our business rule engine was designed to make it easy for basic users to implement the logic they need for their campaigns without requiring a PhD in SQL queries. While at the same time we made sure that the advanced users could create complex joins and grouping options to select the most targeted audiences for their campaigns.
Create Near-Real-Time Interactions by Including Activity & Responses in Your Logic
Because the Conversen platform collects the activities and responses from all of the channels and makes them immediately available for querying, users can create logic that responds to these actions right away.
One Library of Business Rules = One Place to Make Changes
Conversen's Filters can be reused within other Filters since they are all stored in the same library of business rules. This means that, when the client changes their mind after three months and a "Hot Prospect" is now defined differently, you can change that logic once. And every other rule that includes that "Hot Prospect" rule is updated immediately. ~voila.
One-Click Exclusions of Any Criteria
Often it's important to be able to select an audience based on who they are and what they have done. But it is equally important to know who they are not, and what they have not yet done. Conversen Filters allow you to quickly and easily select records based not only on the presence of data, but also the absence of it.
Verify Results with Cross-Tabs & Waterfall Statistics
Users can audit how a business rule works by selecting data fields on a table and running cross-tab reports to verify that data is being selected or excluded correctly. Additionally, each step in the business rule includes waterfall statistics so you can quickly see how and why the system selected certain records.
Variable Content with Drag-and-Drop Dynamic Blocks
Creating relevant targeted content is easier with Conversen than with any other platform on the market today. There is no programming. There is no limit to the logic that can drive the insertion of variable content. There is only your creativity and endless possibilities, and it's literally just a point and a click away.
Nested Logic Lets the Platform Do the Work For You
We have customers that are creating THOUSANDS of permutations of their messages, in all channels, and it's taking them days, not weeks. How? By letting the platform assemble the content. 5 Offers plus 10 Demographic-based Templates used to mean creating 50 versions of the message, manually. No more. Let the platform create those permutations for you.
Dynamic Blocks Can Be As Simple or Advanced As You Want
Sometimes the logic needed to drive changes to the content is really easy. For everyone on the East Coast, use the picture of a snowy backyard, while the West Coast folks get sunny beach. But the logic might also need to be based on activity or transactional history. Either way, Dynamic Blocks make it easy to send the right content to the right people.
Preview Channel Options
You can get a quick snapshot of what the content will look like in every channel, as well as run proofing audits to your mobile device or email account or download PDF previews.
Personalize Messages with Data From The Record
Along with creating variable blocks of content, and data stored on the record can be inserted into the message in any channel. That's right. ANY channel. Unlike other so-called integrated hubs, we actually personalize the SMS message, the web content, the email content, the variable digital print document, and the mobile content.
No Lists Here: The Full Power of a Relational Database
While the platform can sit downstream from existing campaign management and data warehouse infrastructure, it is designed to provide the fully relational structures needed to store data that will feed business rules so that decisions can be made quickly and on-the-fly about who should receive what message in what channel at what time.
Store Data of Any Type
Data is stored in the database in its own native format. A Date is stored as a date and time value, allowing business rules to use date-based calculations. Dollar amounts are stored as decimals, allowing SUM and AVERAGE functions to be used. And custom data types like Email and Mobile allow the system to validate that data as it comes into the database.
Joins Between Tables Make Business Rules Smarter
The core of a relational database are the relationships between tables, the joins. By storing the relationship between records on different tables, business rules like "select all current members who are over 25 and have purchased more than $500 in the last 6 months" are possible in our point-and-click business rule engine.
Multiple Data Sources and Rationalizing Data
Because the Conversen platform must import data from external sources, it also needs ways to rationalize that data as it enters the database from those various sources. The Data Map feature allows users to control column-by-column, table-by-table, and source-by-source all of the rules about how to update or create records in the database.
Complete Control Over FTP and API Data Imports
There are a number of ways to bring data into the Conversen database, all of which are controlled by users via the web-based user interface and require no assistance from IT or development resources. Need to download a bulk file from an FTP site every 10 minutes? No problem. Need the web site to post data in real time via an API? Done and done.
