Conversen was started in 2006 when we came together to build a platform that would meet the constantly evolving needs of marketers who were struggling to keep up with the evolving consumer landscape.
We hired a bunch of smart people and turned our ideas into reality, and turned our partners dreams into successes. And we've done such a good job, we've been profitable each quarter since the product was launched.
Philip Chischportich
Philip Chischportich has been a leader in digital marketing since it's humble beginnings, watching it evolve from the frontlines. Prior to Conversen, Philip founded and served as president and CEO of Britemoon Inc., a pioneer in email and on-line marketing. His cultivation of Britemoon's potential led to its successful sale to Click2. Philip also served as COO of Echo mail, another leading enterprise email service provider. Philip earned an MBA with a concentration in International business from Boston College and received dual degrees in business and law from the University of Marseille, France.
Paul E. Mandeville
With over a decade in database marketing, sales, consulting and general management, Paul has helped bring success to numerous companies, earning an industry reputation as leader who delivers results for his clients. Prior to Conversen, Paul served as the VP of Alliances for Click2, and also served as VP of Business Development for Elity Systems, where he oversaw company growth and eventual sale to MarketSoft. Paul's continued fascination with emerging technology has led him to advisory boards of several portfolio companies in the Slater Technology Fund, a Rhode Island-based investment company.
Kevin Ulland
Kevin brings extensive experience managing and developing large-scale distributed business applications. Prior to Conversen Kevin led development efforts at Britemoon, an email marketing services company, implementing an industry-leading Microsoft CRM integration, providing the only truly integrated marketing module for CRM customers. Prior to Britemoon he worked at Arnold Worldwide, a leading advertising agency, managing on-demand applications for companies such as Teradata and Royal Caribbean.
Kevin's past roles range across various industries including biotechnology (Inologic and Tessera Diagnostics) as well as software (Tidemark Software and Oralis.com).
Sergey Vladimirov
Having developed and architected several large scale on-demand software applications and databases, Sergey brings more than a decade of development experience.
Prior to Conversen, Sergey was chief architect of the software platform for Britemoon, a leader in the email and on-line marketing field. While there, he led the development of marketing platforms for companies including Hyatt and Bank of America. Prior to Britemoon, Sergey worked as a Financial Analyst at DialogBank in Moscow. Sergey graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, with a dual degree in Applied Mathematics and Microelectronics.
Melody Ulland
With 25+ years as a serial entrepreneur in the high tech and biotech arena, Melody has been on the initial management team of Information Technology companies including Informix and Sybase. From start-ups to the Fortune 500, Melody has helped teams rebuild their vertical applications using a multitude of technologies. In companies such as EFI, Inologic, and Tessera Diagnostics, Melody's teams have brought color copying to the worldwide marketplace, as well as life-changing drugs and medical diagnostic tools for debilitating diseases. Melody's contributions to these companies have helped them win Number One Software ratings and consumer awards in PC Magazine, and placement on the Deloitte & Touche Fast-50 for revenue growth.
